Mostly of the rescued greyhound are adopted by European families mainly in Italy, Germany, France, Netherlands among others.
Every year in Spain tens of thousands of Spanish Greyhounds are bred for the sole purpose of hunting, each one living a short life of fear and cruelty. At the end of the season, no longer of any use, the Galgos are killed or abandoned.
